How many treatments are needed?
Like most laser treatments, multiple sessions are required for patients to see optimal and long-lasting results. AviClear patients require three treatments spaced out 3 – 4 weeks apart.
How long does it take for AviClear to work?
Patients usually see the best results about 4 – 12 weeks after the final treatment. In clinical trials 80% of patients saw at least half their acne clear during this time. Not only does this treatment reduce existing acne, but following a proper course of AviClear treatments, future breakouts are less frequent, less severe and shorter overall.
Does AviClear help with scarring?
In addition to reducing existing acne, in clinical trials future breakout episodes were shorter, less intense, and more infrequent following the AviClear procedure. The device is effective in reducing red acne scars and overall oily skin.
Who Is a good candidate for AviClear?
