With holiday parties, get-togethers, fun times ahead, of course you’ll want to look your best for all of it.
Skin Care Treatments
We have a few suggestions for quick and effective ways for you to glow this holiday season and all year long:
- DiamondTome® Microdermabrasion: This non-chemical and non-invasive procedure gets rid of unwanted dead skin cells, opens clogged pores, and leaves your skin feeling smooth and refreshed. By removing the skin’s dead and dry outer layer it reveals fresh, healthy skin underneath, thereby renewing your overall skin tone and texture.
- Microneedling: This highly effective treatment repairs, regenerates, and revives your skin. It creates controlled skin injury to rejuvenate skin, and helps fill in fine lines, plump your skin, and creates a younger, refreshed look. Combining platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with microneedling has proven to have long-lasting benefits. Together, they stimulate rapid skin repair and induce further collagen replacement.
- Secret RF: Take microneedling to the next level with Secret RF. It combines microneedling with fractional radiofrequency (RF) to reduce signs of aging skin, fine lines, wrinkles and scars with little to no downtime. This unique treatment allows for optimal results on all skin types.
Tips for glowing healthy skin
With all that dashing around and temperature changes, your skin may feel as if it’s in a battle zone. Fear not! We have three tips to help you maintain glowing skin even during the holidays:
- Moisturize: Cold outside air and overheated inside air dries out skin and can make it dry, cracked, and itchy. This is especially true for people with skin issues. I recommend to all my patients they use a cream formulation moisturizer. And, if you don’t have a humidifier connected to your central heating unit, get and use a stand-alone humidifier while sleeping.
- Hydrate: Toast to this; toast to that. There is so much to be thankful for during the holidays. And, while you’re having all those glasses of champagne, eggnog, mulled wine, or whatever you prefer, you’ll want to drink lots of water. A good plan is to drink at least one glass of water every hour. This will keep you and your skin well hydrated.
- Sleep: As hard as it may be to get enough rest during the holidays, you need to set aside time to rest and sleep. Keep in mind that, in addition to giving your body and brain the rest they need, your skin repairs and regenerates while you sleep. So get your beauty rest!
